Went back out Wednesday too Delacroix for a repeat on reds but to many gators around , lost spoon to one , don’t know how I snagged it but but up great fight till I popped my line , did pull 2 reds out released one and kept 1 for the grill

A co-worker of mine has been doing good on the reds around the black river outlet West of the lighthouse. He's using a black split tail grub on a lead head bouncing off the bottom back to the boat. Hope this helps and good luck. Lake P had been peaceful lately with this hot weather.

I was in Lacombe today in Bayou Des Mats. There are a lot of no trespassing signs in there. Does anyone know if this area is fishable? I'd like to be able to paddle thru to get to the bayou that leads to Lake Ponchartrain to the west.
