I wonder if someone can help me. I have not fished in the Lake Hermitage area since before Katrina. I need to know if there is still a public Lake Hermitage Marina still in business and if so does anyone know their phone number? Someone told me that marina is private only now.

There is a private launch owned by Clay Boudreaux, if I remember correctly, and the fee was $10 when I launched last fall. His number is 504-208-5026.

He also has fishing cabins for rent on his property. Never rented them, but they look nice.

If you live in kenner you could try in the spillway or if you have a little extra time, try in some of the canals around bayou segnette which also isn't very far.
