I am considering buying a Blazer Bay 2170 - do any 2170 owners have opinions about the boat and what size motor would you recommend - 150, 175, or 200 HP- and which brand motor - suzuki or yamaha- thanks for the information
Look down 5 posts to the one that says "4 stroke" it is a disscusion on which motor is better. For me it is the Suzuki DF 175. Good luck.

Been playing with the Sea Tow app and really like it. Highly recommend giving it a try. It has a lot of functions. Weather, water temp, gps coordinates, compass, speed, and much more. I was able to uninstall a few apps because this one does so much. Just wanted to share because I like it so much.…

I dowmloaded the app and got the tide chart working but I can't get the weather. It keeps searching with no results ('checking location')?

Can anyone give me a unbiased opinion on Nautic Star boats . To be exact the 2110 with a 150 hp four stroke . I am in the market to buy and there seems to be alot of them out there . Should I be interested in them or should I concentrate my efforts elsewhere . Thanks

My buddy is about to buy a Epic boat from Blue Dot , it's either the 23 or 25 ft with a 300 on the back with a list of extras for $54,000 , he asked me what I thought and I have no experience with Epic , I asked around and have heard they have problems with the transom cracking up , Bent's…

Bent's dropping them would be enough for me not to get one.

In the past how has a hurricane effected the fishing the week or two weeks after the storm? Not talking about snags, more like were they biting more, less, etc..
We went the week after gustav and ike hit, The fishing was unreal for trout, every cast was a fish on, The bayou was loaded with grass wads and just took a while to get out, Went a ways and then had to put the motor in reverse and sling the grass off, Suggest going out after good safe light too

You guys probably see and use more spinning equipment than about anyone else. My old Shimano Sedona 4000 has given me great service on specks and reds. But it's getting a bit worn and beat up. It' time for a new reel or two.

What do you recommend for the bayous, marshes…

I am picking up a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox next week that DOES NOT have any factory installed roof runners, which is a bummer. I researched some “naked” roof rack options and found some on etrailer.com (Rhino-Rack) but lawd they are expensive (~$500). Does anyone have some more budget…

I just tried to add this to a post, but the post got pulled. All the crap is getting really tiring. If I can't come here to get fishing news, what's the use of coming here at all. If everyone would just NOT reply to the garbage, it would go away. TRY IT! PLEASE.

Plenty of fish being caught. The water is falling and is out of the woods in most places
