if you have a shooting range with a pro shop just start practicing at 20 yards then more to 30 and forty yards with some tight groups if not get a 3d target like glen dale buck have the targets place to shoot on them to shoot good luck

Looking for input on the Trophy Ridge React 5 pin sight. Its the one that's advertised to automatically calibrate your long distance pins once you set your 20 & 30.

That is the sight that I've used on my last two bows. I love it. Currently I have it set for 15 yd increments. 15,30,45,60,75.

It works as advertised.

I shoot the Rage mechanical broad heads in my Tenpoint and like them. The most important thing is practice and knowing your yardage.

I bought a pearson recurve at a yard sale last week and it needs a string. The bow is marked AMO60 but I've seen where it says 3' and 4' shorter. I normally get my compound strings at www.60xcustomstrings.com but I have no idea when it comes to recurves.

this is my second year to bow hunt, I recently bought my first crossbow and have got in a lot of practice with it, i'm just wondering if there are any seasoned hunters with a few tips for someone who doesn't have much experience hunting with a bow?

If you are hunting alone, you will have to make two trips or alternate carrying gear then dragging deer twenty or thirty yards each until you reach yiour truck. Some management areas allow atv to retrieve deer but I don't think you can have gun while doing so. Check WMA regulations for details.

I shoot rage mechanical for deer, but want to spend the off-season shooting hogs. Should I stick with the rage or go with fixed blade.
