Noticed so far Indian Bayou rd is a hot spot especially towards the end of that road...anyone having any luck? To me indian bayou is more tore up with hogs than oil well but i have yet to sit on oil well this season...

Deer are scarce. Hogs are hard to find many dont see or kill any. I have got a couple hogs but they small under 100 pounds is what I call small. seen 3 deer in a month.

Yes .. recommend it!! There are some old farts that have hunted there for years that think they own the
place...but dont let that stop you...you will know who they are if you meet them...dont believe anything they say and above all dont TRUST them with any info....

Can anyone give me some info on dove hunting sherburne? Thinking about going out there on saturday. Never dove hunted public land only private. Is the line pretty long? How early do people start lining up? Do they let the field get over crowded? Thanks for the info.

Save your time and go somewhere else. I went the last 2 years and saw maybe 10 birds, and only 4 or 5 of those were in shooting distance. Got there about 8 and I was the only one there, had about 20 hunters in the field at 12:00. I never had a chance to shoot. But if you go good luck to you.

You can get off in Ramah an hit the levee going north are keep going west on I-10 an get off at the Whiskey Bay exit an go north an get to Sherburne are you can keep west on I-10 to the Butte La Rose Exit an go north to the Indian Bayou Reserve

Have to stay on designated trails, but read the pamphlet for each WMA. Some allow you to retrieve your game with an ATV, some don't. Some do not even have ATV trails period
