Looking to buy some crabs from lake pont.
Anyone catching in the lake?
Wanting for father's day.
Good luck on that. We went to a seafood market yesterday, and they wanted $70/dozen for live number one crabs. I think the world has gone mad. Needless to say, we will just catch our own.

Well, I haven't posted a good fishing story in a while....so, I think I'm overdue!

We were supposed to make the trip to Delacroix before the butt-crack of dawn on Saturday morning. But, as luck would have it, I was checking tire pressures Friday evening on the boat trailer and…

Please separate the fishing reports, putting the guides' reports under another title. Most of us can't fish everyday and we enjoy seeing the reports of the individual sport fishermen rather than that of the guides. Nothing wrong with reading the guides' reports and viewing the many…

CCAguns : wouldn’t hurt if a individual would just stop with all the How to clean a fish all the time , pretty sure there’s enough videos on YouTube that show every type fish there is to be clean & cooked !

CCAguns and I were finally able to get together(somewhat fortunate that Jesuit Alumni Rodeo postponed til 7 -17)and all we intended to accomplish was a 'shake-down' of his recently-serviced fine Kenner Bay Boat(serviced by Jeremy's Marine in Mandeville)and possibly scout some Rigolets…

Need a method for attaching to Rigs. Has anyone had experience with EZ Rig Hooks(no pole just hook/with release and line/suubber. For a 22FT Bay Boat. Or just use a nylon line?

This was the last fish I caught before I left Grand Isle. I caught it on a Berkley Gulp under a popping cork in the marsh west of Caminada Bay in 4 ft of water. I think it's a baby cobia, but could be mistaken. What do you think? Also, it's the only thing I'ver ever caught on a Gulp. Pretty…

Guys, I'm looking for some feedback on the Blazer Bay 2220 Professional or 2220 Fisherman. I am toying with the idea of upgrading and would like some feedback from guys who own this rig or have ridden in one. I know this boat will be skinny enough for the marsh I fish, but how well does it handle…

Took a trip with my wife and daughter and in-laws to Tropical Motel on Grand Isle. It had a pool thats about the nicest thing there was here. If you are thinking of renting a room here, DON'T!! It was one step above a rat hole. The place was a dump. You would think that for $175.00 a night it…

I recently obtained a free boat trailer from a friend (legally) but he does not have any registration papers for it. Does anyone know if I can get a license plate for this trailer without any registration papers.
Thanks in advance…………….

Was looking for information from anyone owning a Critchfield boat. I am looking at an 18' bay boat with a 115 four stroke Yamaha and was just wanting to get information from others that may help in my decision to purchase. They look like they are well made --- can anyone else give me positives or…

Has anyone hard from Mike Lane? Rodnreel has been down since the storm.
You'd think with all their web prowess and business sense they'd at least spend $20 and post a place-holder letting everyone know they are still around and would be back up...

Anyone here ever heard of a Leatherjacket fish? While throwing my cast net I caught why I thought was a Pogie. It was a little shorter than a Pogie and was really slimy feeling. As I went to pull it out it stuck me. I think it was one of its bottom fins. TOU TALK ABOUT BURN?!?! I figured it would…

Was it this fish? I have heard about them before, never caught one and honestly don't want to. Hope your hand gets better, a friend of mine had that happen years back and it took a couple of days for that pain to go away.
