I caught this fish 8/15/07. Does anyone know what it is?
Looks like a type of Stonefish, but I'm not really sure. If it is, that fish is the most venomous fish in the world.

House Bill 691 is up for a vote in committee tomorrow. I disagree with this restructuring, and am opposed to this bill. Some gems included are registration of paddle craft and a fee (and yes this does include currently owned…

I am looking for a Public Boat Launch in Port Sulphur.

Is there one behind the High School?

Or is it located somewhere else?

Thanks for insight.

Looking to try Lake Washington Area for Speckled Trout.
Just type LouisianaMAP in your address bar and you can search all the boat launches. Hope this helps, Kirk

Do any of you guys know who I can send a Lowrance GPS unit to get repaired other then Lowrance itself? I'm tired of sitting on hold for hours at a time w/o speaking to anyone. Thanks in advance for your help.
Way I hear everbody tell about Lowrance support is that it SUCKS. I've got one on the blink myself and because it's so old (99), nobody wants to fool with it. I'm leaning towards a Garmin or a Hummingbird. I'm even thinkin bout 2 units, one GPS, one graph. Any comments out there fellers??????

I had Justin and his buddies all from Minnesota. The guys had a good nights sleep at the REEL INN Dularge. We took advantage of the outgoing tide most of the morning, then switched to big fish once the tide started coming in. We joked and cut up on the boat all day until the skies fell out. We…

Went Friday evening to the Mud Lake Bayou Dufrene area to throw a spoon in the grass beds. Had one bite and it was a bass, I missed it. Saturday morning I headed out to Big Bayou Dularge. I fished the drains and wound up with the opposite of my usual problem of the reds being to small. This time I…

All folks who fish and swim in our Gulf waters be careful and attentive. My son was invited to go on a trip this weekend out of Grand Isle for snapper. There were 7 people total on the boat. They fished for red snapper 24 miles out, then fished for mangrove snapper about 8 miles out. Everyone took…

Hey guys, gonna try again here. With this cold, cold weather and North winds, do you think the reds will be stacked up Thurs or Friday in the Myrtle Grove canal once it warms up again? Friday is a better day for me to go, I can take my flatboat but the motor is messed up so I'd be using trolling…

my experience is it has to be cold to fish that canal. Like today's weather. The colder the better, once it warms up the fish seem to scatter out that deep canal.
