freezing rain all afternoon on Friday turned into some snow flurries. highs on sat and sun was in the 30's so it didn't melt. 18 degrees and dead calm when I called him in.

took this big 8pt with compound bow at 25 yards on the afternoon of 12/29 searching for does. My biggest deer taken with bow or gun. Very rewarding to take such a nice buck on public land.

Me and my 9 year old son has been hunting this maniac for some time but on December the 11th 2016 he finally slipped up I give all credit to my lord and savior!!!!! And my dear sweet wife for putting up with how much time I put in the stand!!!!!!!

Great job dude. You earned that one....Nice !!! Not sure where you are hunting, but in my earlier days we marsh hunted alot. Not the cozy hotel stands I hunt out of now, but walking the marsh. Those are your memories forever....Good one !!!

Took this one opening morning Nov. 19 area 6. Lucky shot right at daylight 140 yards. Shot his left side off right at the base and knocked him out while walking to my stand.

Hunted this dude all day. It was one heck of a day with glimpses and near misses in 20° weather. Finally at the last moments of daylight here he come heavy behind a few does. Beautiful and majestic animal. Glor be to God for the opportunity to hunt and harvest this fine specimen.
