Question of the day. Lets say five guys are on a offshore charter trip and everything went ok. What would b considered a ball park tip for all five guys on this trip. Four of them have never been before and don't want to give to little of a tip but also not look like high rollers either. Thanks.
I would say around 40 bucks a guy, maybe a little more or a little less, depending on your service....NOT based on how many fish you catch

The grouper are on fire right now and will only get better! Yellow Edge, Scamp, Scorpion fish, Longtail Seabass and red snapper is what we are pulling up from the bottom. Here is some pictures of these delicious bottom feeders!

Can anyone tell me the condition of the road in Freshater City that goes to the locks and boat launch.
Thanks
The first part of it is pretty bad had to go about 20 but once u get to the split u can cruise at speed, the ramp has a pretty good bump from shell to concrete on the right side if u stay to the left close to the wharf u should be okay, went Saturday.

Can you give a short summary of the red snapper allotment process in lamen's terms and what is the outcome of these chefs opposing the red snapper change? I guess I haven't followed this close enough. Not being a jerk, but wondering why a boycott of these businesses?

The tuna fishing has been awesome out of Port Fourchon, Louisiana. The yellowfin tuna are showing up in good numbers and averaging between 70-90 pounds. Come get on the bite while it's hot.

Does anyone know the status of the Eric and Monique Newman investigation or did they just give these two a pass and chalk it up to business as usual in Louisiana?
I haven't heard anything.

I am in the market for a bay boat. I am an avid inshore fisherman, but I am wondering what size min. would take to sneak offshore on the 'perfect day' to catch a snapper or two --THANKS!?
24 ft. I wouldn't feel comfortable going more than a mile offshore in anything less.

Our tuna fishing charter out of Venice cancelled last weekend due to weather. This weekend is looking good. 2 of us would still be available to help split the cost if anyone needs 2 tuna fishing partners this Sunday, 2/11.
