I was out at Vermillion 164 today. The water was nice and blue. This platform is about 45 out of freshwater city. The blue water looked to start around 30 or so miles out. good luck.

It seems to be nasty and sloppy every chance we have had for the last two months... we are planning to head out any chance we get in the coming weeks. We fish between Grand Isle and Venice 10-60miles out. Has anyone been more than 10 miles out in the last month with any result???

The rain shortened our fishing trip behind G.M. 5 shy of our 3 man limit 70 specks 3 reds, on down south lure chicken in c- color tight line on 1/8 grip jig heads.

I'm hearing mixed reports about tiger pass. Some say it's not marked and a fella last week couldn't find any water deeper than 2 feet. Any comments and advice appreciated. Would anyone share a waypoint(s) to aid in navigating this pass?

Anyone know where to find Gamakatsu outbarb circles hooks? They work great can’t order them fast enough. Can pull the out with one finger no pliers needed. My wife started removing her own hooks and sharks are easy to get rid of and save the hook.

We took advantage of the calm waters on the July 4th weekend and it paid off all three days. Harvested our limit of red snapper, mangroves and a few vermillion. Water was beautiful out of South Tim.

Does anyone have information regarding rig structure locations out of freshwater City? We used to fish rigs in the 35 mile range Vermillion block 119, I believe. I was told that they have been moved. Any other rig coordinates/info appreciated !!! Thank you
