Was wondering if you had coordinates for three popular winter time fishing spots along Hwy. 1 called Forbidden Hole, Snake Pit, and Radio Tower Hole.

Do you know if there is anyone that has a card for GPS units that has older maps on it? We are looking for one that goes back so we can locate older islands that are now reefs as well as well locations that may have rock beds on them.

what is your budget and how big of a screen do u want. The best setup would be the Lowrance hds series with a Louisiana card but it comes with a premium price.

You have to have a GPS unit with a SD card slot and purchase the maps chart to get detailed information. I think all brands have units with this option, but the best place to check is with a dealer.

Looking over the order site on sportsman I am not seeing a simrad option. I know simrad and Lawrence are very similar in operation being both are owned by Lawrence now. Could I just use the Lawrence option?
