Good evening Captain Paul i have a question ok i bought the waypoint dularge about 2 week ago i read the instructions but when I try to install it into my lowrance hds unit I can't install it can you tell me what I'm doing wrong the attached photo is my screen on GPS

Yes it is. I am working with the Sportsman mag to correct the link.
In the meantime go to the SPORTSMAN STORE and search for Fishing Edge. It will retrieve all of the different Edge files.

Capt Paul,

I just purchased the Port Sulphur edge file. Do you have a route to get to four bayou pass from port sulphur? Maybe from the end of Freeport canal? I have a 20 foot x 72 inch semi vee aluminum boat so I would rather a mostly protected route if possible. Thanks in advance.

You should be careful, the old sulphur mines have plenty of debris under the water ...... dont rely on a gps.

can the mark 4 use the standard mapping chips? I fish the inshore marshes of louisiana and the base map is not very accurate.. . do i have to upgrade? what is the cheapest plotter/depth finder that can use standard map chips or something similar for my application?

I believe that the Standard Mapping aerial view maps would work, but to be sure contact Standard Mapping in Covington, LA at Phone: 985-898-0025.

Be sure that you get the program on the proper memory card that would fit in your unit.
