Do you own Glocks? Do you hunt with them?
I own many glocks. One day they might save my or my family’s life. I’d rather a reliable firearm and they,my friend, are reliable.

On thanksgiving day my wife Megan traveled to Bienville parish to meet me at our camp for 4 days of hunting. I had been hunting for 2 days already and had not seen anything shootable yet. But I knew exactly what stand this 115” 8 pt was going to everyday for the past week. For the first 2 days…

Congrats to your wife on a nice buck! Where did she end up hitting he buck? What ammo was she shooting? How far did it run?

Do you agree?
No I do not agree I don’t think anyone should be able to own any gun that holds 30 are more bullets and for self defense I would say shotgun with buckshot. I’m not against that kind of gun I’m against that many bullets

This buck has been around my place for over 4 years now. He is summering then leaves around early October never to be seen again till the following year. He is 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 years old and nothing more the a big cow horn spike! I sure hate that he is out there breeding Does! Hope you enjoy the pics

Letumgrow, that’s a big old spike. Definitely needs to be culled. Surprised he hasn’t been seen during hunting dates, disappearing once season starts? Hope you take him out this season!

Reading article written by Chris Holmes about Squirrell Hunting. Then was reading responses. There was a statement made that Mississippi had just changed their non-resident hunting license fees. Out of state hunters would pay the same as residents. Does anybody else have any information on…

I haven't heard anything about Mississippi changing the fee's. So I am thinking that he got it confused with Arkansas.

I need some advice on flod plots. I have a small food plot that I want to plant again this year. Around 1/4" to 1/2" acre counting my lanes. I planted it last year with wheat and oats. I did not do any soil testing, but I did put fertilzer and prepared it pretty good with a pull…

did a test on deer head with 17 great results.
Yeah they are a monster for shooting rabbits, coons, and squirrells. It is illegal to hunt deer with a rimfire rifle.

I'll be sure to post a link to the results once they are ready...likely in a couple of months. Big thank you to everyone who has taken it this far!

People often ask me who processes my deer. I thought it was about time that I share my secret.
I’m interested in your 5.56 ammo. I’ll give you $225 for the 420 rounds. Thanks Danny

My name is Adam and I'm tired of borrowing rifles for deer season. I am considering the 35 Whelen cartridge but would like a few opinions on the make/model to go with. I'm leaning toward the CVA apex but what do yall think? I plan on hunting this rifle all season not just for primitive. Shots…

Been looking for a feeder for rice bran. the only one I found is sold at cabelas. It is called the powder keg feeder. Does anyone have this feeder or know anyone one that has used this feeder. If so does it work? Thanks
The problem with rice bran feeders is ANY moisture will cause the feed to cake up, thus causing the feed to clog up. We had a guy buy one of those feeders with the auger type spinner. This didn't work because of the moisture that clogged up the feeder opening.

Can anyone tell me the pro's-cons of a 35 Whelen vs a 45-70 on an Encore-they are legal in MS during muzzle loader season, and was wondering which is better all around. Distance, knock down, accuracy, bullet drop, etc. Any experience is welcome.
No experience with an Encore, 35 Whelen or 45-70, but I can vouch for the Knight KP1 in 444. Half inch group at 100 yards. Deadly on deer. Guess that didn't help much did it.

Thursday morning this buck showed up right out of the fog. Unreal experience when all you can see is 80 yards and a big deer appears out of thick fog. The old 280AI was accurate and the 202 pounder is being turned into sausage! Another great hunt at Liberty Trace Ranch in Amite Co, MS!
