Well I’m currently sitting in the Amite River swamp waiting on teal. I was covered up in woodies at daybreak and seen a pair of Mexican squealers fly by around 7:20. Anyone seeing/shooting teal?

Friend and I made the plan to check the lease out, routes open only had to grind out in one spot, run it a bit more and won't be a problem, grass beds look great, not as many Lilly's, saw a few teal and squealers floating around all we need is more birds for the opener

I was behind the island on the south end of false river this morning catching gar and seen a flock of 13 blue wings along the shore. They are in the state! Can’t wait! Anyone else seeing teal?

GB3 and I saw two blue wings when we checked his crab traps this past Th.Bayoubob and I saw zero today when we fished Lake P,might be opportune time for me to scout both E and W,have heard that last year they showed up W and E of where we typically hunted!!!

Make a quick trip to the Chef this morning. In comparison to other marsh habit in Southeast Louisiana, the Chef just looks health and always has plenty of grass that provides the gin clear water which is my favorite ingredient for sight fishing Reds.
