Use a guide as a favor for yourself and other hunters. They know they land and where the animals are. You will spend more time walking and scouting than hunting.

Huge Bobcat

I killed this huge bobcat on the afternoon of 02/05/18 in Acadia Parish just North of Crowley. I was using my new Boss Dogg remote electronic call which is deadly on predators. Would anyone know where this bobcat would rank among big cats killed in Louisiana? It weighed close to 40 lbs.

Very productive weekend hunting the elusive wild mushroom. With all the heavy fog they were popping out like crazy. It just so happens that almost every willow tree that had them was burried in a briar patch. Picked them, cleaned them, soaked them, and fried them. Out of this world!!!

Shot a Bachman Squirrel this weekend at my camp in Wilson, Louisiana. They're like fox squirrels but apparently get 2x the size, and have white ears, white on the front of the head, and usually white on the tip of the tail. this one was around 2.5-3lbs. Anyone ever seen one of these hunting?
