Found some Oyster Mushrooms this morning. Looking for a recipe cooking them with olive oil and butter in a skillet with some kind of seasoning. Thanks
Soak them in salted water overnight and then put them in a venison stew. Can't beat it!

I'm looking for a good Brisket recipe. I know there are some great cooks on this site and figured that I would poll the group for their favorite brisket recipes.

how do you cook some great fresh white beans????
Beast , I do white beans just like my red beans with onion , garlic , pork hocks and deer sausage in a crock pot . It's not like the dried out white beans you eat with jambalaya but it's how I like them the best .

Blackening almost anything makes for a great feast, and it's true with shrimp, too. Here's a little insight in this fun and fast cooking method.

A friend of mine told me about Mickey Browns deer burritos and was to let me know when he was going so I could send some deer meat to have burritos made. Well he forgot. I ragged him bad enough to where he gave me some. Damn they were delicious but I thought maybe I can make them myself. Look…

I THINK I saw some ABS plastic (black) crawfish trays (table top?!!?) that fit over a 55 gal drum on LA Sportsman but can't find them now. Am I crazy or did anyone else see these? They're black heavy duty ABS plastic that fit over the drum and has a hole in the center. Has places for dip, drink,…

Baking fish outside in a covered grill is great, especially in summer so as not to heat the house. It's even easier and better when done with a large iron skillet. Here's how.
Nice tip Bob. Try this next time you cook fish on the grill. After you put the wine on the fish, put about a teaspoon of good Balsamic vinegar on the filet and spread it around with your fingertip. It adds a fantastic flavor.

4 lb. Black drum was delicious. After taking advice of previous posters. I fileted and removed red pieces. Broiled in butter, olive oil, lemon juice, saltnpepper and garlic. It was great. No worms were found. Next time I think I will scale and grill whole. 'Never trust a fisherman who doesn't…

I saw a guy bring a decent sized black drum in from a cast net. These piers have a shit load of hungry fish under them, but there are a lot of anglers are casting off the end for baby sharks and hoping for the big one. Many huge lunkers are just feeding in the shallows under the pier. Good luck.

this is how i do it. if u are going to boil together I would season the water and bring to boil, drop in crabs and boil for 5 minutes, then drop in shrimp and boil for another minute and shut it down and let it sit for couple of minutes.Shrimp cooks fast.
