Collin Scaffidi 15 ,of Slidell ,caught a 9 lb. bass at Toledo Bend on a blue zoom mag craw ,on April 7,2021,she was full of eggs, released alive.

Made a trip to Lake Bouef this past Sunday. Ended up locking into this monster. Caught a few punching thick mats, but this one hit a chatterbait in about 2 ft. if water. I was throwing a 1/2oz. shad /with paddle tail trailer. Not only did she smoke the chatterbait, she had about a 12' catfish…

Fine bass,indeed!!!Good that ya released de beast-tried to cook bass of about 4 lbs and it was very fishy,unlike the smaller guys,maybe I need to marinate bigger bass OR release em,unless I nab a T-Funky bass over 5.02 to mount!!

making my first trip to the red this coming march. Was wondering what to expect......navigation, water, grass, baits, ect. Any help would be much appreciated.

We head to Bayou Bienvenue to meet up with a good fishing buddy 'John Retif' to try a target marsh bass. This area is stacked with bass and we usually catch a limit or two. They start off small and slow but we eventually find a few nice bass.

Had a good bite early while moon was still up. Stuck a few on a frog,2-3#'s were the biggest on frog. Had couple smaller ones. Caught few on swim bait. Biggest was a 4-1/2. Also caught few smaller on swim bait. All in all a good day. Was a solo trip. Had 9 total for the day. Released them all…

Bashing the Bass in Venice Again!! What a place!

An afternoon scouting trip downriver from Venice. When the river level and tides are right, there is no better place. Leave your mono and flouro at home...this jungle fishing calls for heavy braid and a broomstick rod. A great day catching a lot of bass.

Had another great day on the water. Had my pops today to catch a few. Ended day at 11:30 with 16. Had 2-4lbs,3-3lbs rest were pound an a half to two pounds. All on swim bait. We using his tin rig till my boat is finished. Can't wait.
