Seems everybody wants to look at the post but not comment. Let me be the first to say what everyone else is thinking.
I see why you take your wife/girlfriend fishing. How many boats followed you around all day?
Jokes aside, you obviously have a ton of patience.
It's been about almost two months since I went to the lake from Theriot Boat Launch. Last time I went the entrance to the lake was almost completely blocked by a small floating island and a mass of lilies. I barely made it through into the lake. I guess there is no maintenance by the parish… View Full Report

I just bought a kayak for fishing, looking for some good fishing spots to launch from on the Northshore. Just moved to the Pearl River area last year, so I've fished Cane Bayou once and today Bayou Lacombe off of Main Street. I'm not having any luck. I'm a little frustrated, bc I've not fished… View Full Report

Had some free time on my hands and had strong suspicion that my favorite SShore Lake P fishing spot would be holding some reds and they certainly were!Actually met Bob Dubuc,Don's brother, today and he was wrapping up solo red limit with one lagniappe speck in de box(live shrimp)and I tossed a… View Full Report

Does anyone know where I can get a contour/topo map for all areas of the Basin? I just started fishing the area and I am having very little success. I am from Central Louisiana and know Saline/Larto like the back of my hand and can usually go just about anytime and catch fish...the basin...nope.… View Full Report
I just boat a 14' flat boat from someone without paperwork or HID. Now I'm feeling pretty stupid. What do I do to make everything legal for it? Any suggestions would help. Thanks
I usually fish out of IDJC (island south of PAC) but am looking to scope out a new area and I have the Leeville area in mind. There is a kayak launch down there and it looks to have a lot of broken marsh options. I expect to get into some reds, but also hoping to get into some SPECs so my… View Full Report

Heading out in the morning to launch out of the GI kayak launch. Planning to explore the rock jetties just north of the launch and then the marsh/island just North of it. This will be my first time fishing this area. I was thinking of launching out of sand dollar and heading to Isle Grand Terre… View Full Report

Me and a few buddies are coming in from out of town to stay at the Lodge there in Delacroix. Two guys are from Nevada and they want to experience our coon-ass style crab boils. I am looking for some FRESH live crab for a Thursday night boil. I'd prefer to get them right from the fisherman if… View Full Report
Contact 'B&J Seafood' on Paris Rd. in Chalmette, LA and/or 'Today's Catch' on E. Judge Perez Hwy., Chalmette, LA! You will probably have to pass both when driving to Delacroix.
Do any of you guys know who I can send a Lowrance GPS unit to get repaired other then Lowrance itself? I'm tired of sitting on hold for hours at a time w/o speaking to anyone. Thanks in advance for your help.
Way I hear everbody tell about Lowrance support is that it SUCKS. I've got one on the blink myself and because it's so old (99), nobody wants to fool with it. I'm leaning towards a Garmin or a Hummingbird. I'm even thinkin bout 2 units, one GPS, one graph. Any comments out there fellers??????
Sound system, I pilot 80lb thrust, led light package in all hatches, tandem backtrack trailer, Lowrance fishfinder/GPS with sidescan on the console, seadek from Xpress, boat cover and added rocket launcher pole holders on… View Full Report
