Anybody catching bass or sacalait in Henderson? Is there water in the woods? Any reply is appreciated.
Plenty of fish being caught. The water is falling and is out of the woods in most places

Was not gonna bother with trying a Lake P trip, based upon predicted wind speed and direction and thought perhaps a T-Funky trip might be a decent plan B and had fairly low expectations once I saw flag at Bill Hood Chevy in Covington, looked like S winds were ripping at least 20 mph!!Got to…

This report is not about Henderson Lake...just had to choose a Region in order to Post. I simply chose the closest point with the most interest. Please read below:

My wife, step-daughter and I took the boat out on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th to Spanish Lake and Alligator Bayou. We launched…

I managed to get into cow island lake last weekend and the lake is so overgrown with, what looks like hydrilia, you cannot fish it . Is the lake gone and nothing can to be done? Is the corps. in charge of this lake ? If not who is ?
You ever heard of lost lake. Its exactly like that. THe lake is totally gone and nothing can be done. The la dept. of wildlife and fisheries has totally given up. Dont WASTE YOUR TIME.

I had heard that Ascension Parish had bought the boat landing that accesses the Maurepas swamp off of hwy. 22. It had a barroom next to it. Is it now public and open? It's a couple of miles east of the Airline. Thanks.
Last time I used it was a rough ride in, driveways were horrible. Parking lot kinda smallish. Leads out to new river canal through the pump station.

I was there the morning being referred to. I know the person that is being accused of breaking in line to launch his boat. What is not known is that he did not intentionally break in front of anyone. He did not see the line because it was off to the side and not where it usually lines up. Once he…

Anybody know how the water level is at Lake Verret? I know the spillway side is high based on the 7' reading at Morgan City. I was thinking about going to Verret next week for cats and bream. Thanks, Mike

I am have recently had a fever to go out and catch some Sac-A-lait. I am not exactly sure their movement patterns though or where I should go and look for them. I mainly fish around ponchy-manchac and around T-funky for bass but I have never really targeted white-perch while fishing. If anyone has…

My son with the first fish of the morning. We caught a few early on brush piles with shiners this past weekend. When the wind switched to the north. They shut down on us.

I just moved to the area from Maryland. I live in jarreau, on the false river. After a dozen nights of juggin this crowded lake, I have concluded other than brehm, its a waste of space. Where can a man go to get on Big cats? My biggest excitement of moving here was the duck hunting, and monster…
