Apparently there has been a lot of thefts on the island lately. Watch your stuff....
I'm just curious. Is anyone else having problems with the website dropping out? I'll be reading reports or on the classifieds and it just throws me back to my desktop. I'm not sure if it's on my end or LSM site.
What??? No Saints talk? Geaux Saints!!!!!!!
Does anyone have a Halter Island / Oyster Bayou red or speck report? Planning a trip this weekend...Thanks
How do ya'll think all this fresh water that's on it's way down is going to affect the coastal fishing (specks & reds)?
I second Casey at Sportsman's Fab. They do great work....
Hit Man hit it on the head.....Common sense folks...
Next time I get in my deer stand I'm going to play my music as loud as my phone will go. Maybe even bring an external amped up speaker. That shouldn't make much of a difference in my hunt results....Standby for a report.....
Personally, I'm not convinced that all surface drivers (especially the younger ones) are 100% for the hunt. It's a good reason to run around in your hopped up machine and post to facebook. No offense to the innocent. Let's be honest, less is better when it comes to disturbance of habitat.......period.
Wow!! Always nice videos from you guys...Thanks for sharing
Weather sucks a lot of the time especially in luziana. Keep a steady eye on radar and pick your windows as small as they may be. Maybe limit to surf fishing so you can flange up quickly if need to. Make the best of it. Good luck....
Why does there have to be a law? Where's the common sense and respect for people...Give em a break for a while. Water is on it's way down. Surely you have a plan B spot...
Excellent video...Thanks for sharing
You may want to check the laws on that type of angling.....
Congrats. Great story. Thanks for sharing. Love public land success...
She's malnourished for sure. Been sick for a while.
I would catch those and bring em home when I was a kid. Mom didn't like it....
It's not about food for these people. It's about showing their arse. Usually they brag and incriminate themselves.
All good points. My advice was assuming that the motor is at correct height. If you can get bow up enough (without porpoising) with only motor trim that would be ideal.
Depending on degree of v in bottom you may or may not need tabs to control chine roll. My point is, if you don't need tabs to get the performance it's one less thing to deal with.
If the tabs are helping with performance, I would leave them on. Work the prop numbers first and see what changes. Some prop shops will let you try them before you purchase. jmo.....
Your probably going to get about 200 rpm variance per inch of pitch. It all boils down to turning manufactures recommended rpm at wide open throttle. Usually 5000-5500 rpm wot. Too much pitch results in not enough rpm at wot which could damage motor. too little pitch and you're over reving the motor. You could experiment with different props 3 verses 4 blade etc. but the rpm thing is most important. good luck
Then I married her and cheated on her IN THE WHITEHOUSE....
it's all good.......
I'm not a guide, but do put a lot of miles on my gear. I like my Okuma Salina. It's really smooth operating. Caught bull reds, shark, Drum, specks. It's been holding up well for several years.
Forget about the 500,000 or so that don't complain. Just look at the nays vs yays on this thread alone. That should tell you something. Come on guys. Why wouldn't you want as many folks as you can get interested in your site weather they post or not. Seem like it's leaning towards being exclusive. Not sure I'll be joining the club. Don't like it.
Awesome first buck...Congrats
