Where has all the flounder gone too? I have been gigging several times this year and have many walked hours on the islands. I've only seen two flounders, all summer. After thinking about this the last couple weeks I talked to a old commercial fisherman (trawler) and asked him if he had been catching any. His answer was shocking. He told me he has caught less flounder and 'bottom fish' this year than any other summer he can remember. Does this concern anyone else? Am I over reacting?

A comment titled: done a lil myself in response to a report titled: flooded swamp

Look for trails in duck weed,if theirs any. They may be hard to see. So look for clumps of it. It may fill back in after the deer pass but if they use the trail often you will see two humps which forms on either side of their body. As for as a stand location as close to hard ground asyou can. lol
