There is a guy in BR who specializes in repairing and cleaning leather and vinyl. I brought him my boat which was covered in some nasty stuff and they came out BRAND new white. After he cleaned and redyed them.

He told me the worst thing fishermen do is use bleach because it tries out the leatehr or vinyl.

He is the best he even came to my house and repaired my couches my wife's damn cat scratched.

This has nothing to do with anything you said! First off it is clear that CCA has no IDEA or proof that bowfishing is bad for redfish. Except the fact they want to ban it because redfish are a game fish and they believe we do harm to the numbers of redfish.

First of all to the hand full of bowfishermen here in Louisiana we do not shoot the numbers of reds that you or many other Captains on this website catch. In fact compared to one captain who caught over 1500 reds in one month compared to one bowfishing charter who had 375 reds in a month. If anyone puts a hurting on the redfish it is for sure rodnreel fishermen. So the restrictions that will be put on bowfishermen will also have to be put on rodnreel fishermen. So if they reduce the number of 5 reds shot or caught to 2-3 reds SHOT or caught this applies to everyone!

The CCA aggrument is protecting the redfish because to many numbers are being CAUGHT or SHOT! Bottom line

Continue to support the CCA and our 5 limit will be 2-3 for everyone

We are working on a organization as we speak today that will have tournaments and also raise money to help our Coastal Conservation and Restoration. Which we have talked to a few top officials that have said it will
not be a money hungry joke like the CCA! We are also
having a website built for people to suggest what they would like to see there money given to the Conservation used for!

It is not hard guys to put a tournamet on to win great priZes! We talked to big company's in the last few days that would support us instead of CCA to benefit
all sportsmen and we have signatures of many who are for this.

CCA claims they are trying to protect redfish because they are a GAMEFISH when NONE who are against bowfishing have ever been! They are idiots and they can not make claims when they have never been!

it has been classified by many that bowfishing is not easier. Rodnreel is easier and catch way more reds and do a lot more damage then bowfishermen.
 
That is the argument! CCA is saying bowfishermen take more fish then rodnreel. That is not true look at the many Captains that have posted here in the last month over I believe 2500 reds stated caught? Bowfishing has know where near that. So how are bowfishermen doing more damage to redfish then rodnreel fishermen? That is what my question is? Its a fact that if the CCA is trying to ban bowfishing then it will also result in the rodnreel sportsmen and charters to have regulations on catching reds.

I am a avid bowfisher and do agree with you on both your issues. But you state bowfishing guides you saw had 150+ fish adding guide, deck hand, an clients! I hve to tell you bud that even tho that might be correct rod n reel guides also do the same!! My bachalor party we went to cocodrie where we booked a trip with a very well known guide service down there! 4 boats 4 guys and a capt in each boat we slayed over 400 specks and 80 reds in two days! So saying just bowfishing guided services should put strict rules on the capt and deck hands only would also need to be towards rod n reel guides!!

The reds being caught with holes in them I hve done the same in the same waters I bowfish. Nothing wrong with them and still eat the same! I have also shot a red with line and a hook in his stomach. Line was so old crust was on the fishin line!

I have also caught AJ's and snapper that had holes in them from divers!

Even tho your comments are good the issue is not bowfishing anymore it's the CCA that think they can do whatever they want to us true sportsmen!!

And all of us sticking together and stopping these idiots that keep stealing money and taking away our hobbies and lifestyles

CCA a few weeks back came out and said they are against Bowfishing redfish! Which when confronted at the sportsmen show Mr. Head CCA man Sammy denied he ever said that and he has nothing against saltwater Bowfishing! Which is real funny he is trying to weasle is way out!

I personally know these kids an they did not shoot these ducks in three days but who cAres it just shows that youth ignorance is still really high. They got away with it so it's done but I like how they say " louisiana no ducks? Rigghhtt " and they killed a bunch of ducks in a day in a half.! Most guys are not understandung if you have a place that can hold crops then your allowed to plant and if you follow the rules hunt over what you grow. I believe it comes down to guys being jealous of people who are able to plant an be able to hunt fields. Who cares do research if you have the ability to plant and plant.

I know plenty of guys who hunt the marsh and kill lots of ducks. I hunted two major La lodges last year and both had corn and Milo fields and again we had great hunts and bad hunts.

It does not cost alot of money to build your place up to have great fields. If you have you own land it's simple if your hunting public land then that's a different story not much you can do there

Man I am not a rich man but I bought property this past summer in waterproof and it took me only 2000 to put a pump in the ground and 2 weekends to build a thw ground where it will hold water. I planted milo and corn which is standing and I will start flooding my 3 fields (10 acers a piece) in the next few weeks.

I have read all the rules about what to do and how to control fields with crops in it to not get introuble. Even have a Wildlife agent who hunts the same way next to my property and actually showed me how to do it the right way.

Its not hard by any means and I hunted two lodges last year who plant corn, beans, milo, millet throughtout there place and we had good hutns and bad hunts. It all comes down to it getting COLD!

Its not a hard process growing things in the marsh I do nto know anything about that but I do believe corn will be hard to grow

Yes if you go down terrebone canal see breeze is the cut at the en of the canal. There are islands on your left that are really good redfishing and speck fishing. The island has alot of oyster beds and is shallow. We fish there alot during the fall and do really well

Have done very well when it says no tide and a front pushes in. Albino is right go with shrimp with cork. I'm doing very well in robinson and sea breeze islands
