I have a 50 cal smoke pole. I have been using the 295 grain powerbelts. I have heard that they are not worth a crap. Any ideas on some good ones I can use. I am leaving tomorrow to go hunting and I want to get something different. Thanks for any info.

My son Landon's first speckle trout. It was the biggest of the day. Caught in Leeville on the bottom with a live cocahoe. Proud moment for Dad and Paw Paw.

JK..the seafood shed on LA 1 in Larose has them. It is before you get to Leeville on the left on Bayou Lafourche. Not sure of the price but I have gotten them from there many time. Good Luck

I know those have the polymer tips on them too. Have you had any problems with these expanding on impact? What grain you shoot?

We have always had luck fishing in the winter out of Leeville at brush island..fish the bottom with the gulps and live shrimp. It produces big trout just make sure to bring plenty of tackle you will get hung up on lots of trash. I will try to get the GPS coordinates for you and post them on here. Good luck

Launch at Bridgeside Marina...when you come out the marina go left and go through Caminada pass and veer right and fish along elmers island especially the washouts. Make sure you get live shrimp..if not they are hitting on DOA's and 3 inch gulps(natural or molten) under a cork. Throw back towards the bank. If the wend is SSE it will be too rough you can fish the back of the island on the oyster reefs.

I love the spelling and punctuation. Good ole RHS. My friends dad has a 22 Seafox he bought brand new from Bent Marine and he has a 200 4 stroke Suzuki and he needs all of it. He had to put 3 different props to get it like he wanted it. It is a very nice boat, very heavy and dry but you need more than a 140 to push it.
