I know itâs really early but yâall give me some good news about some crabs on Lake Rd in Lacombe. Also, howâs the trout and reds bitin? Maybe taking my kayak and some crab lines out Monday, weather permitting
Do I need to fish the tressles north or south, or out of bayou Lacombe tomorrow? Supposedly light north winds, no rain. And anyone know where I can get some live shrimp? Thinking about using that tomorrow instead of plastics. Redfish, trout, drum, doesnât matter, let me hook into something. Anything
Anyone know a good spot to launch a yak to fish the HWY 11 and I10 bridge? There looks to be a sandy area near where 11 and 10 meet and I could possibly launch there. Also, any fish reports from that area? Looking to go out Monday or Tuesday. Just one trout and one red out of Lacombe today
Never hunted a wma for hogs before. Ldwf said as long as there is an open season on a wma, I can hunt hogs. Since dove season is open, I can hunt hugs tomorrow, right? Just wanna be sure I follow all laws and the ldwf huntin reg book wasnât very clear. Thanks in advance âï¸
I have some lakes in my neighborhood, and I fish there weekly, sometimes 3 times a week. the deepest point is about 15-20 feet, and it has produced several bass over 12 lbs in the past. they also have bream and perch, some over 2 lbs. but I noticed that the bass bites have slowed down dramatically. I use spinnerbaits, crankbaits, buzzbaits, worms, live bait, rattle traps, just about everything I have in my box. I went yesterday to the lake, and caught 3, only about 2 lbs each, and missed 2. and I caught them on a Bandit 200 series crankbait, the color of yellow with a blue back. if anyone has any ideas of how to catch more bass, and at a faster pace, please let me know. the largest bass that has even been pulled out of the lake was 18.54 lbs by my friend. like I said, if anyone has any tips, just let me know.
I live in BR and i want to get out with the boat this weekend. Is there any reds, sheephead, or trout in Dularge/Dulac area? Where they at right now? Also might go freshwater, if no saltwater. Is anyone catchin perch, catfish, or bass in tikfaw, manchac, or black lake?
If nothin if bitin' go out to the redfish ponds, or along the banks and look for reds. throw a 1/4 or 1/2 ounce Bill Lewis Original Rat-L-Trap. color of Bleeding Shiner, Electric Silver, Lemon Bleeding Shad,or White Bleeding Shad. If that doesnt work, throw it out towrds the middle of the canal and I catch a lot of sheephead like that.
try heading down to Tickfaw River and launching at the Springfield Public Landing on highway 22 in Springfield. From the launch go all the way to the end of the canal where it turns right and goes straight. It should be a dead end down the canal that goes straight. take your trawling motor and fish with worms aroung the base of the trees and the cypress stumps. Or try going to Black Lake and Launch at the Black Lake Club Launch. Theres a $5 fee though. on the way to the launch you pass over a wood bridge with a small creek under it. launch and when you get to the main canal turn left. There shoulld be a creek on your left. Trawl down that canal using live worms or crickets.
I have apond in my back yard that has some small bass, some perch, catfish, massive snakes and a 4 foot alligator snappin turtle. I have 2 perch tackle boxes with about 60 different perch and sacalet baits. I havent caught a fish out of there in about a year. Caught them there before. Whats wrong? Even tried live bait and still nothin.
Looking for a .22 lever action rifle for rabbit and squirell huntin. not payin over $250. Requirements: good condition, shoots, CLEAN!!, no scratches, quiet, moderatly used
I made the 250 mile jouney to Dularge from Watson north of Denham Springs for just about nothing... ONLY 4 PUNEY specks and 1 BARLEY legal red. Widllife and fisheries stoped me to check me... Everything cool. Bad weather to north....windy....NO FISH!!!!!
Go get the Tsunami Swimbait with scent release. Get the ones with a light black back, blue body with dark blue or black. They come pre rigged. If you wish add a rattle. Put it on a baitcast reel with 12 lb. test line. You will catch fish with or without a bobber. If you use a bobber use a bottom weighted, flouesent orange pencil bobber. Use dont need a weight. Happy Fishing. Along the marsh grass.
Man how did you catch your limit? Me and my dad went the other day before the rain and we fished half the day for reds and other half specks and caught the limit on specks and only 1 7in. red. We had to let it go of course. We tries up in some deeper, larger duck ponds with gold spoons and nothing was there. We plan on making another trip on April 14 and I would like any tips. We caught our limits on reds before
I have a REALLY bad snake problem in my back yard. Mostly copperheads, cottonmouths, and other pit-vippers. We tried shooting them with a rifle. We cant use to big of a calaber we have VERY close neighbors. How else can we get rid of them?
I feel that LSU Baseball is having a hard time with the balls hit by opponents into right field. But I do give them credit for sweeping Arkansas and winning all the other games. They have had many close games. I feel that since Maneri showed up to LSU he has moved the program in the right direction.
Me and my dad are going to Tickfaw River next weekend and we love fishing in our 'Honey Holes' and I just wanted to know if the bass are doing good out there.
