I don't know where to start. I would give this place a minus 2 stars if it would let me. I brought my boat seats to him and not only did he have a bad attitude and bitched the whole time I was talking to him about how much trouble it would be to do, when the job was done the seat covers lasted only 3 months before the stitching all came undone. I brought the seats back to him and he charged me more to repair them than it cost the first time when he made all new covers. 3 months later and the stitching on the repaired seats came undone. Save yourself the headache and just buy new seats or if it's something else you need recovered..........go somewhere else.

We have been setting lines for catfish in the Atchafalaya River for 34 yrs. and this is the first and only time we caught a sting ray. We set lines around Melville. And the only catfish we are catching are these Gafftopsail Catfish which I thought were saltwater fish?????????
We set some lines in the Atchafalaya River this weekend and caught a bunch of catfish. When we went to clean them we thought we had a couple of desent size blue cats but as we cleaned one of them the meat looke funny and the body was slim and long. The mouth was wide and the head was shaped funny. Wish I had a better pic of it, but this was taken on my phone. Can anyone tell me what kind of catfish this is? It's the one on the right. Thanks.
If anyone has a hydraulic steering kit laying around that they are looking to sell.......I am interested. 337-247-3176 Email: nolliabed@hotmail.com
2006 Xpress X21 TS w/ 225 HPDI. Trophy 4 blade with 25 pitch prop. Hydrolic jack plate.
I brought it to a Yamaha mechanic and had my motor put on the computer before the summer starts so that I will know if anything needs looking into. Everything came back fine. I just had the plugs changed along with the water/gas separator filter. My problem is that when I have it opened up I am only hitting 5400 rpm's and my GPS is showing that I am only going 56 mph. I only found this out, because I just had a GPS installed. Before that, I had no idea how fast my boat was going. What I did know was that when my hot foot was 3/4 of the way down I was going at full speed. I had more peddle, but when I pushed it all the way down, I didn't get anymore performance. Can someone steer me in the right direction on how fast my boat should go and what do I need to do in order to get it running at full capacity. Thanks. My email is: nolliabed@hotmail.com
Couldn't drive in to Baton Rouge this morning due to all the snow fall in Lafayette. I will post a few pics. Thank god for global warming or we would really be in a pickle.
I need some suggestions. I am looking to buy a GPS for my boat. I will only be fishing in fresh water in Louisiana and need it to be simple to use and affordable. I also need to know if I have to buy a chip that has the water ways in South Louisiana or does it come with it. Any suggestions and advice would greatly be appreciated. You can email me if you like. nolliabed@hotmail.com
Thanks.
I need anyone and everyone's help finding this part. I have a X21 Xpress bass boat and need to buy some aerator strainer's for my livewells. I already called Xpress and they don't carry them anymore. My boat is an 2006 and they have a new design. I am attaching pictures of what I need. If anyone knows where I can buy these please email me. I have looked all over the internet and have found only the one's with the "female" attachment. I need the one with the "male" attachment. My email address is: nolliabed@hotmail.com
Thanks and have a great day.
Thanks for identifying the fish for me. We threw the fish away. The meat looked funny, plus we had about 100 pounds of flat heads to clean so we were not hurting for meat. Have you ever eaten a bull head and are they good to eat? Thanks.
Went there 2 weeks ago and fished it hard with every bait known to man. Ran all over and finally found some water that didn't look like coffee and still did NOT get one bite all day.
Not as many bites as I wished I would have gotten and there was a fish kill, but we did catch some bass and after the snow melt up noth the river will rise and bring some more fish back into Henderson. DWLF is also helping out with the restocking process, but don't hang your head. Like I said, we pulled a few good fish out not to long ago.
Where is Bayou Pigeon in relation to Lafayette.......how far and how do you get to it? And how is the bass fishing there? I don't hunt anymore, just bass fish now. Please email me if you don't mind. nolliabed@hotmail.com Thanks.
So where is the picture?????
Water stinks bad. Saw some dead fish and we fished all day and did not get one bite. The water did look good though, but the fishing was as bad as it could be. Don't know what to tell you. Might want to try somewhere else for now. Good luck.
With a title like that, you would think a post about "sports" wouldn't be so bad. Hunting is a sport and so is LSU football. I love fishing, hunting, and LSU sports. Hints the name "Sportsman". Go figure. I also like bikinis. If you look at the cover of on one of the last magazines you will see a nice looking woman in a bikini holding a fish. And as for the comment, would you like your wife or kids looking at this???? I have no problem with either of them looking at these post. There is nothing inappropriate about them. If youâre offended by these pic's, then make sure to cancel your cable subscription, because it's ten times worse than this. I thought this was about a bunch of tough outdoorsmen. Sounds like a bunch of whiney babies too me. I only fish fresh water, but I have to grind through all types of saltwater post to get to the fresh water ones.............I don't mind. If you do, then don't come here. Oh and "Trout Slayer", if they lose you as reader, I will make sure to call some of my friends and make sure they start reading this.....so you will be replaced and NOT missed. That goes for all of the other whiners. Just shut up and enjoy the site. If you don't enjoy it then PLEASE go somewhere else.
I want to thank the both of you that responded to my post. My X21 is only 1 1/2 yrs. old and I called Xpress's main HQ in Arkansas and they were clueless on what I was talking about. They made me send them pic's of the screen and they still didn't know heads or tails. Then they made me send them pic's of it on the boat and where it went on the boat before they finally told me that they don't use though's anymore and can't remember where they got the one's that they put on my boat. I spent 3 hrs. on the Internet yesterday and came up empty. But thanks to the Sportsman and it's loyal fan base, I now have two leads. I will look them up today and see if I can match it up. Once again, thanks for the help and hopefully it will all work out. I'm still baffled that Xpress was so clueless. Oh well, I do love my boat though. Here's a picture of it.
Have your injectors or carbs cleaned and change oil and gas filter. Either use Exxon or Shell. I know for sure that they are still using non-ethonal gas.
I bought my last 2 boats from out of state and because of that I DID have to pay taxes on the boat and trailer. If you bought the boat from someone in Louisiana you wouldn't have to pay taxes on the boat, only the trailer. Hope this helps.
I oredered a boat from H&M and it took 12 months to come in. They will tell you 4 to 6 wks, but they lie and after you have to boat they have the worst service in the universe. All I can say to all of you is to complain to Xpress's head office. Complain about the delay's and you have to say something about the service and the way they treat people. I am going to forward this post to them and I would like everyone to do the same and call or email, or mail them a letter letting them know how you feel.

I also bought a boat from:
H & M Marine

I had a problem with my front depth finder, so I called them to ask about a simple question. They are rude and frankly don't give a sh*t about you once the've got there money from you. I ended up having to call Xpress directly.

They were very friendly and helpful. If I have anymore problems I will call Xpress first and I would file a complaint to Xpress about H & M Marine. I think all or you should, then it might send a message to them. Just my 2 cents.
I have an X21 and they are actually rated for a 250. I have a HPDI 225 on mine and it's the best boat that i've owned. I have had many fiberglass boats and don't get me wrong, I loved them all, but my favorite so far is the Xpress X21.
Mine took 3 months to come in. I couldn't even find one on a lot somewhere for me to look at to see if I even wanted one. I had to find someone who owned one so that I could check it out and then order one. 3 months later it came in. When I bought my ProCraft SuperPro 2oo, it was on the lot already. All I had to do was drive off with it. I don't know what to tell you. They just take forever.
I used to go frogging at that lake, until one night on my way back home I had a flat tire on the levy. I got out of my care with the lights on to change the tire. I got the spare out and came around to the front and a HUGE gator was waiting for me right next to the car. I crapped myself. I got back in my car and drove home on a flat. Way to many people go out to see and take pictures of those gators and they have gotten way to comfortable with people. I am saying now and have been for awhile, someone will be attacked there. It's just a matter of time. Sorry about your dog. Labs are smart animals.........He new exactly what he was doing.......protecting the kids.
To keep his feet warm they use to put a pair of socks on then a bread bag then another pair of socks. I tried it and works like a charm. Good luck.
