Any pros or cons about the ruger American predator in 6.5 or 308

August 03, 2018 at 1:52pm

Yesterday started off pretty slow, but on our 4th spot we started putting some trout in the boat. 13 ended up in the box and about another dozen will have a chance to be caught again. Might have been able to catch some more but weather got pretty nasty. Just asking,,, How do you guys with T-Tops feel about fishing in the rain when there is lightning.

I'm having trouble with eye relief with my scopes. The more I turn up the magnification, the closer I need to get to the scope to see out of it. Have any of you encountered this? The scope is mounted as far back as possible. I've been thinking about cutting the stock back a few inches. Any ideas?? Thanks

Wow thanks for the response.
So I guess that we need to do testing to be satisfied.
A shame we are having to pay a higher price for lies.
Thanks again

Had a fellow tell me the other day that his cousin works in a refinery and that there is no such thing as ethanol free gasoline.
He said the all that ethanol free only means it is under 10%. How true is this??

Twin vee
Pros and cons
I understand tbey can handle a 2 to 4 ' chop without
a problem. Dry and smooth ride . But I also hear that they
have a tendency to dig it when crossing waves on an
angle. Thinking about buying one.
What you all think.

Personally, I think 14' and 15 fish. But I think a lot of the problem is with the webbing in the water killing the bycatch,

what is the preferred size shot in steel today that is comparable to # 6 lead

September 25, 2013 at 7:21pm
A comment titled: shotgun in response to a report titled: BEST SHOTGUN

i have always been partial to brownings but i hear the bennellis are great on low recoil,
i guess that the 3' would be the best loads.
i used to use #6 for ducks when i shot lead but now i hear you need to use # 2 or 3 and i even hear bb's
what do y'all think
