I need some help diagnosing some trouble I am having with my 1996 25up tohatsu outboard. The motor runs like a top, idles easily, and cranks fairly easily. The issue I am having is when I'm running at a speed high enough to get up on plane, the fuel bulb will not keep pressure. When the bulb loses pressure, after a couple minutes of running, the motor essentially runs itself out of gas and kills. But all I have to do is send some fuel through the Line by pumping the bulb and it cranks right back up, usually to do the same thing a few minutes later.
I've changed the fuel filter, cleaned the carb, changed spark plugs, and just about anything else you can do without really tearing into stuff.
Any suggestions as to what it may be? Coil pack? Just a bad fuel tank maybe?

Anything would be helpful. Thanks

I have an old Winchester 1400 semi auto shotgun. The gun is having trouble feeding the second shell in the magazine. It will shoot the first two shells every time. But it just won't receive the third shell into the chamber.
The left arm in the trigger group is preventing the shell from reaching the right arm of the trigger group which is where the shell should be seated to allow for the proper feed. I bought a new trigger group thinking it was the problem. The old trigger group was doing the same thing. I tore the gun down and nothing is wrong. I cant find the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I need some ideas on how to keep my food plot up all year.
Here is the story
Cleared a small maybe 1/2 acre area to plant two years ago. I seed and fertilize and the plot comes up great. Usually, I have a great october bowhunting the plot, but it never makes it all the way to rifle season. The deer have it mowed to the ground by the time november hits.
Any tips on different things I can try and plant, fertilizer techniques, or anything else I can try to get my little plot to last all season.
Thanks for the help

Me and a couple buddies are planning a trip to lake p saturday morning. Planning on hitting the hospital wall, the twinspans, and the tressles. We have been a number of times this year with little to no luck. Just looking for some advice and/or tips that could get us over that hump and actually put a few decent fish in the boat. Any kind of techniques, bait types, or anything like that to kinda point us in the right direction. Thanks in advance for the help.

If you buy one of the spro frogs, I've found you get better hooksets when you cut the legs back an inch or so. I guess it just allows the bass to strike where the hooks are more often.

Can you elaborate a little on how that process went down?

Thanks for the comments guys. My next thing was to check fuel lines. I had just changed the bulb and the connection to the tank.

Clay Peas is a lot of what i plante last year. They actually almost made it to knee high but then the deer found them. It took about three weeks and they were gone. Watched them pass up corn to get eat them things. Wish they lasted longer.

Thats some good info there. Winter wheat seems to be the right call for me. I like the leaf blower thing too. I got pine needle issues, so whatever does try to come back usually gets drowned out by the pine needles. My plot is a realitivly high area with a few big pine trees and the rest is underbrush that is low enough to not make a canopy. I'd say it gets 4-5 hours of sunlight during midday. Is that enough?

Do you guys fertilize every other time you cast more seed? or every time? or even more than that?

I kind of noticed the same thing you are talking about with the rye last year. It seemed like they would just eat it when it was in the way of other things I had planted. The areas of heavier rye lasted a while longer.
Winter wheat sounds like a better alternative. How much maintenence does the wheat usually require?, compared to rye grass which i would say is basically none.

Whats in the biologic maximum mix?
I tried the rye grass additive last year but i only added it in september when I first planted. Gonna have to keep me a little bag of seed for the whole year and try that this time. Where yall fertilizing every time yall added rye grass or does that work just kinda throwing it on top as the plot gets thin?

Thanks for the info fellas. Any tight line is better than no tight lines. I dont care whats on the end. Might have to find the drum out there tastes just like a red to me. The boat is a 21ft deep-v so were hopefully good. I am familiar with the lake but just never do any good. Seems like every time i hear the trout are slammin I bring bad luck with me and just cant figure them out. I am mostly a freshwater bass guy in the tchefuncta and out by lock one but we decided to try something a little different this weekend. Thanks again guys.

P.S. If the live shrimp arent available would it be worth it to grab live pogeys or just stick to the dead shrimp?
