Come on CCA step up to the plate!!! This is what we should see in near shore gulf waters without Pogie Boats surrounding them with Purse Seines!!
It might be from the boat that sank on Elmers Island Beach Saturday morning just west of the sandbar. I do not know these idiots but they sank on a slick calm day.
Since the Cheramie's, Plaisance's, and Caillouet's own this land in question, they do have the right to keep people out. On the flip side, the State of Louisiana should bill them everytime La Hwy 1 needs to be rebuilt from the erosion that takes place from the pits that were dug for them to sell sand for profit, and why doesn't the state make them remove the derilect cranes that they decided to just leave sitting next to their for profit pits.
You have to take these reports with a grain of salt because you do not know when the fish were actually caught. The fishing was good in Grand Isle earlier this year, but for the last 3-4 weeks it has been off. I am not sure why it turned off but I suspect a lot of freshwater in Barataria Bay and on the beaches have the fish migrating to find the saltier water.
