All caught in an hour and a half on Matrixshad shrimpcreole in a foot of water. Threw at 10+ more that ignored every pass. Had to stop retrieve and bounce it in front of them.
Anyone have feedback on castaway croker smoker fishing rods?
Me and the little woman caught our limit of reds today. Shrimp Creole matrix shads did most of the damage. Caught all the undersize specks we could handle fishing the birds near Grand Isle.
Not a bad day. Mostly stay on the edges of bays and lakes all day with 8 reds 2 flounder 7 fresh cats 1 speck and a drum to show for it. Extremely low water. Find clean water and yoi find the fish.
Does anyone have and experience with the Kodiak canvas tents? Almost all of the revoews are good ones but I've noticed none are from people around here. I was wondering how they would preform down south.
Did pretty good Sunday 7/5. 5 reds 1 bass 1 sheephead in about 2 hrs. Lots of 15and 3/4 inch throwbacks.
Got a few in lafitte saturday morning. Missed about a half dozen and had a few a little too big for my liking. Shrimp creole vortex was the ticket.
Got off work early and made a redfish trip to 3bayou. Caught a limit in about 45 mins and left them biting
Fast trip this morning. Went out to little lake and limited out on reds in an hour in one spot. Dead shrimp under a cork along the rocks near cloverly.Had to weed thru about 30 undersized reds. A good problem to have.
Late start today. Flying solo around 9:30am made one stop and started hitting keeper trout on Cajun crickets and switched to pearl gulp shrimp 20 trout 2 reds 2 drum 2 hours.
Went to Lafitte Sunday morning for a fast redfish trip. Me and my girl took home 4 reds, 1 flounder, 1 sheephead and about a 17inch speck. Burned about $10 worth of gas.Not bad for playing around for a few hours.
One of our Lafitte reds.
I'm thinking about buying a Guest onboard charger from academy and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. It is the model that charges from the wall and the boat motor when it is running. Thanks
ME and my little girl Hailey had a great time last May fighting this monster from the seawall on the lake(The real lake)HAHA!
Headed out not knowing what to expect with little tide this morning.had to put my happy face on when I seen countless shrimp jumpin all over the place. it was fast and furious until a lite rain shut it down(at least for me}ended up with 20 trout,2 white trout and 3 mangroves(the gulf was calling me) just the kinda day off I was lookin for.TIGHT LINES ALL!!!
