after many year of being a loyal follower in the classified section I have become tired of all of the scam ads and posts that offer to solve my problems through some sort of voodoo.
I know that there are alot of honest people that post their stuff for sale in the classifieds but it has become difficult to weed through the BS. Anyone else feel the same?
are there actually any moderators for the posts and classifieds? I can't tell you how many times I've seen this same tractor for sale!
agree. much like the reports by a particular user that seems to go out of his way to misspell most of the words in the post. Though we need to keep in mind that just because its posted here, we don't have to click on it.
not capt. paul, but I bought a Helix 10 and a navionics card that supposedly had satellite imaging. well, the short story is that for the areas that I fish, Louisiana gulf coast, there isn't satellite imaging. just the usual mess. the only benefit so far is the depth contour on the card is better than the standard map in the navionics.
Mitch,
there is a public kayak launch next to the wildlife and fisheries station down ludwig lane.
the whole area around it is good for specs and reds.
here is a suggestion for the site admin. if there isnt a way to filter the bullsh*t ads when they are posted, maybe restrict new users for 5 days before they can actually post an ad. maybe that would discourage the idiots that are screwing with your wonderful site
is that the same one that was stranded there the weekend of the Houma oilman's tournament?
completely disassemble them, including the stocks.
cover all metal components with oil, it really doesn't matter what oil you use, heck, i have even used engine oil.
as for the wood stocks, wipe them clean and place them somewhere to completely dry out, you do not want to re-install them if they are even slightly wet.
not surprised by their tactics. BUT, keep in mind that we don't have to shop there!!
