I bent my prop shaft a couple of weeks ago. I took it apart and got it straightin out. I put it back together and notice that when the motor is in forward and neatral that I am able to push on the end of the prop shaft and it move in about a 1/16 to 1/8. Is this normal or did I maybe do something wrong? Thanks for the help.....

I was wondering if anyone as any suggestions on what I could do or if you know anyone beside garmin that can fix it at a reasonable price. Talk to a guy in my area he said if I could find someone with one with a broken screen that would work but I dont know anyone. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

We made our first ever fishing trip to Venice this past weekend. Our target was tuna and dolphin but blue water was a little further than we wanted to go. Our first stop on day one which was Friday was WD 143. Oh yea it was a lil rough that day too. Manage to catch a few Ajs, Lemonfish, and some really nice Red Snapper. Had six are so snapper over 10 pounds oh yea and they were on the bottom, water depth 250,that a lil winch up. Also caught a big white trout and some big croakers one 3 pounds. Left there and headed to the Lump trolled around there and caught a few Kings. Headed back in and stop at 105 to finsh off our limit of snapper. Day 2 headed out a lil further to WD 152 still no blue water trolled around and manage to catch a couple of nice AJs. Then we tied up to the platform caught a few snapper. Left there and headed to WD 143 again finshed our limit of snapper there and caught some grouper one really nice one. Finshed the weekend with a 162 quart 3/4 full of fillets. Not bad for a couple of Venice virgins.

Was thinking of making some hunts in there. Heard a couple of good things about the area. If anyone is hunting in there any info. about the area would be nice. Maybe for a trade for a few beers and a good meal at our camp. Thanks.

Went out of the point sunday to shell keys and bank of marsh island. Caught a 4 man limit of specks and reds. Only move 3 times. 1st stop 100 specks and 5 reds 2nd stop 1 red anf 3rd stop 14 reds. Specks were biting on everything live and dead shrimp every color D.O.A. I had. Could have threw my tackle box out and caught one on it. It was crazy. All of the the specks was over 2 pounds except for about 4 or 5 of them. Only had to measure one fish that being a 16.5 inch red. It was a very short day being only 6 hours but a good one.

A comment titled: training in response to a report titled: Bloodhounds

I have 3 bloodhounds. I do breed them and use them for tracking. I usally start training mine at 6 weeks old. Thats on basic and tracking. I find the best way that works for me is a back leg of a deer. Start off draging it bout 10 to 20 feet straight line bring the dog in and let him find it. Do that for a few weeks then go a little further. Then after that add a turn in it. Just keep doing that adding turns and getting further. These dogs have really good noses and tracking is in their blood. Once on her trail to find a deer and she finds it she will be hooked. You can contact me if you need more advice with your dog you can email me @

Me and the wife was fishin with my buddy and his wife my wife didnt have a license. Got stop buy the game warden check the boat and the fish. Told them she wasn't fishin just enjoying the sun and beers. No ticket. As long as you don't have a limit for that person and doesn't get caught in the act of fishin you should be fine according to the game warden. Hope this is helpful.
