Baton Rouge Chapter is hosting our 2017 Big Game Banquet on May 13, 2017 at Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge. We open our doors at 5:30 pm. Tickets include a full dinner, games, drawings, and other fun activities. BATON ROUGE CHAPTER OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN ELK FOUNDATION
WILL RAISE CRITICAL FUNDING FOR WILDLIFE CONSERVATION PROJECTS AT THEIR ANNUAL BIG GAME BANQUET
WHAT: The Baton Rouge Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation will conduct its annual big game fundraising banquet and auction to contribute to conservation projects in Louisiana. Funds will help conserve and enhance habitat for wildlife and fund conservation education programs.
Items to be auctioned include a Caribou hunt in Quebec Canada for 2008, a Dove hunt in Mexico, a mountain lion hunt in Wyoming for 2008, a photo safari in South Africa, firearms, arts and crafts, and much more.
WHY: The event promises to provide a great time for a great cause. You can become part of a conservation legacy by supporting this local event. All proceeds will benefit elk and other wildlife. Baton Rouge has raised $220,000 resulting in 1144 acres of land and habitat being protected. Our work in Louisiana includes conservation education programs, such as hunting education courses that promote our North American hunting heritage, shooting sports and fishing.

WHEN: Saturday, August 18, 2007. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. During the social hour, you’ll enjoy drinks, drawings, raffles, games and a silent auction. Dinner and a live auction will follow. Seating is limited please make your reservations.
