I am trying to find a map card that shows river detail around the lower tickfaw ,bloodriver, and amite rivers
most of the ones that I have seen don't show much after you get off the major lakes or big bodies of water.
Thank for any help or advice

Great article in Thursday's Advocate on the Lake. Says the trout are on. I am planning to go soon, but have a small boat so the bridges are tricky if it is very windy. How are the marshes off the ICW , Chef Pass areas doing? Any suggestions would be thankful
Thanks

I have an old reel that is what I call free spool/direct drive. It is silver with century on the side with the handle. Stamped on the bottom of the foot is 100. Does anyone know who the manufacture is. Johnson made a green spin cast, but I could not find this one.
Thanks for any help

I have an old bait cast reel that is a free spooler I guess (it has no level wind). I can't find anything on the internet hoping some one might help. It is a round silver reel with century written on the side above the single handle. On the foot is stamped 100. I will try to get a picture so that might help.
Thanks
I got this picture maybe it will help. This is not the green Johnston century spin cast, It has no other markings

You know when you are in public waters and some big event is going on there will always be some inconsiderate people. Ya just can't fix Stupid! But getting upset ruins your day not theirs. The WLF Agents need to be more aware of these events. Boat operators are responsible for their wakes and are held accountable for the damages. Most shallow draft boats make less wake on full plane, but high speeds can result in an accident. It would be nice if boat operators read all the rules of the water and tried to follow them

you are right a barn owl makes a chilling sound, but nothing like a Big Cat. They also don't leave padded foot prints. The one I saw was along the river

I don't mean to keep on but I looked on google earth and saw a boat launch and little brown building just past the Yellow Store , before the bridge. I am 70yrs old so maybe I am in the wrong spot, not too good with computers either.

Say how do you get to buy just a saltwater license with out buying one for freshwater. La is still cheaper than most, but it has to be reasonable. Who is the FOX watching the Hen house anyway!
