Captain Paul, Is there a program available for this unit that give a true satellite image mapping option? If so what is it. Thanks in advance for your help.
Thank you and everyone else who is and has served this country.
When did this get revised? Will be first opening morning in 16 years I miss due to work schedule already made based on original dates. Oh well, at least it extends later into January which is what most wanted. Good thing is my little one can hunt youth opener since Halloween was initially more important than going hunt. :)
I caught more trout than I killed ducks this year. What sucks is, I fished 2 days and hunted 15-18 days.
No it is not safe to use.
That is incredible. I agree with you Chris!!
I have to agree with you Coot. Great bunch of guys at Gator Trax.

Give Kent at Gator Trax a call. Great bunch over there, and they can answer all your questions and offer suggestions. From my experience, the surface drive can do most of what the outboard can do, but the outboard cant do some of the things the surface drive will. I would go with the surface drive, but it depends on what your ultimate use of the boat will be. And yes the bow fishing decks are removable. I am more than satisfied with my surface drive motor. Brand will depend on your research. I have a Mud Buddy and have no complaints about the motor.
Looks good dude...now it needs some trout slime slung on it. When are we going.
Good question...makes sense to me.
I must be hunting the wrong Southeast La. My numbers have not changed if any.
Well first and foremost I have to agree 100% with all the jack legs running around WMA's with cranio-rectal syndrome. Trust me I feel your frustration. But banning surface drives from them would also ruin my hunting, as I own one myself. But I usually hunt with my head on my shoulders and not up my backside and know how to be respectful of those around me. I am not sure what the answer is to solving the problems of disrespectful idiots we have to share our hunting sites with. Just my 2 cents
Awesome picture....looks like a you guys had a blast, except for the cleaning part. One question for fisherkjh however, since you mentioned the duck population....When the birds are down and swarming your decoys, how many do you harvest when you make a hunt? 6 is the limit, just like 25 is for trout. Do you only shoot 2 or 3 and stop? Just curious.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you go into it at home with the phone in your hand and 911 on speed dial your chances are slim to make it in time. Just go fishing and have fun.
SX3 with an 11-87 back up just in case.
Without a doubt the Farmer-Aycock video would be my choice over the two. Evan Graham also has Smartworks which would be my other choice. Both are way more current on training techniques and process.
Maybe your dog needs to revisit some of the things he was taught earlier in his life. You said he does not handle especially well, but does he respond to a whistle....sit and come in? It sounds like he has lots of prey drive that needs to tamed. I dont know how much you train him in the off season, but it might benefit him and you in future trips. Please dont just put a collar on him and burn him if he has no idea what is is for. The collar is meant to reinforce learned/taught behavior, not punish bad behavior. It can create bigger problems that are harder to fix later. Good luck.
