went fishing yesterday 2/20/11 outta falgout canal with the family and friends, and got on a good rat red bite until this boat trolls right up to the mud flat we were fishing.we had 4 adults and 3 kids in the boat.had alot of boats around us but none had the nerve this guy had.we wasn't looking to keep any fish just let the kids have fun.we must have cought 60 rat reds.not to make a show with the family in the boat we headed back north to the fire station.the kids had a awsome day and so did i cause i didn't have to clean fish.we got home around 1500 hrs and started making shrimp bluetts an red beans and rice.
first time to 70 mile canal and saw this awsom eagle nest its only 25 to 30 ft off the ground.just thought i would share this with everyone.also cought 3 bass in the 12 inch range, cheers
just wondering if anybody else is expercing the same thing i am.i have 3 shimano citicas and they all do the same thing.i take the hook and hook the eye of the fishing pole and reel up the slack tight with rod slightly bent to keep the line from tangling up with the other poles while they are in rod holders on the center console.the problem is that it pulls its self back out no matter how tight the drag is and all the reels are tangeled when i get to the boat ramp.i know the road to jugs has some bumps but damn...only other thing i can think it might be is i'm oiling them wrong..never had a reel do this before much less reels (3)..oh yea its not the wind either cause i can reel the reel up tight and watch the pole strighten itself back out within a minit or so
Plan is to go fish dularge out of jugs tomorrow morning ,anybody else going.i'll be in the mud lake area looking for trout.
Just wondering how old is he cause my lil man is 6 and he not a big fan of fishin where he can see land..lol...nice job
Its sad that they came a running with the birds in the oil cause their was big money involved.
To this day I haven't shot my first deer and i'm 30 now.If i saw this deer in the woods while hunting I would not shoot it either.Instead i would rather if it stuck around so i could watch it for a little while.Awesome picture thanks for sharing ..

Don't count on them having any.I went their 2 weeks ago and they are all the way in the back on the left side. All they had was midnight. One of the guys was helping me and he couldn't find them and didn't know what i was talking about. After searching the store i found them on my own and when i went to check out he had a attitude. He was a older guy.The young guy was much more helpful.I will order mine from http://docksidela.com/ this friday when i get paid.
their is a thing called a fish tape..They come in steel or fiberglass.Lowes would have it.comes in 25 50 100 ft lengths. Or you can just bring it to a audio shop and they should do it for you for about 25 bucks.
I have a Garmin 62s for sale in the classified section.only asking 200.00 with a ram mount.Paid twice that.Located in Houma.
Common not even a hard head.Guess that explains why he's not a charter capt anymore.Just sayin
