Hopedale reds 7-12-14

Caught a limit of reds, one being a tagged red fish. All on live shrimp, some under cork some free line from 8am to 12. Caught a bunch of 11.5' trout, I usually get a couple over 12' but not this trip.

Me and two buddies put in off hwy1. Slow day for keepers but still managed to bring some home. Caught on minnows, dead shrimp and artificial

Caught almost everything on minnows under a cork.

Tag was a LWF tag and think it was from their current tag program. I caught it not far from Breton sound. I'll let you know next time I go.

Thanks and we did.
We put in on the west side of hwy1. Opposite side of Bobby Lynn's. I'm not sure where you're talking about or where Elmer's island is, I just started fishing this area last year.

Not sure how the water is usually but last weekend it was pretty clear. Keep paddling until it opens up. I'll try to upload a pic of the area I'm talking about. Download fishing deluxe app and look at the feeding periods, seems like it's usually pretty accurate.
