I am having a problem with the power trim on my 90 hp etech (2007). Seem to be a leak in the lift cylinder. Has anyone experienced this problem and is there a kit to replace the seals in the unit that I can get and repair this. I am sure it is quite pricey for a dealer to repair. Thanks in advance for your comments.

I have been experiencing problems finding a scope that will hold-up on my 35 cva elite stalker. Have had simmons and bushnell and neither have held. The simmons held for a couple years and the bushnell didn't make a whole season. What scope will hold-up with that big kick.

I had a major repair to about the same position by the front tie down for hook. It was an insurance job. Insurance offered me a buy out but I opted to fix it myself. Went back to the factory and fixed it for $600 and it looks like new and really stronger than original. But if U fix it yourself better make sure the one making the repair knows what they are doing. It aint easy and there is a right way to fix it and there is an easy get-by way. Make sure it is the right way,.

I think you did the wrong thing...if you really have the serial number and all that you say you should not have moved it until you contacted the authorities that could have really solved the pro blem. even if the camp owners are not the thieves they should know who was at that camp during the time frame that the property was stolen and could get to the bottom of the problem. just my 2 cents because this will happen again in the same area if not taken care of.

got a question.....if you are not seeing deer.....why do you think that you would be seeing bobcats or yoties.....seems to me that you might not see as many preditors if you are not seeing deer. seems to me that preditors are nocturnal even more than deer????

February 06, 2012 at 4:48pm

I agree that the 14' size limit is not working. Why is it that those huge fish are being caught south of Hwy 90 where there are no size limit? I agree the deal is that there are too many small fish that are competeing for the bait and the fish aren't growing. Another thing is that it is not going to take but one big storm in the right location and we are back to square 1.

Louisiana sportsman website has become a non-userfriendly website. When I first joined the site I could check it by the day. I enjoyed browseing both the classified and the reports. Now, I can no longer do this. I look at the first report or classified add at being inputted today and the next one being inputted two days ago and the next one being inputted last week sometime and then there is a string of todays inputted amazingly today.....I put an ad on the classified section and a couple hours later I couldn't find it in the first 10 pages and there were adds before it that was inputted a month before. I thought maybe a glitch....did it again with the same results...what is going on? All I hear is that the management is working on it. Good thing my doctors don't work at helping my health on the same scheduleing.

A comment titled: Area 6 change in response to a report titled: A MUST READ FOR AREA 6 HUNTERS!!!!

Well I really don't care for it. First of all I hunt deer but deer is not the only hunts in La. Now a days you must belong to a club to hunt about anything and with the proposed change, this will probably restrict other hunting in area 6. It is a big deal with fewer and fewer folks getting interested in hunting and the state selling fewer liscenses. More club restrictions on small game hunting (and also duck hunting) means fewer kids in the woods and less interest in overall hunting. Also seems to me with a rut in February might protect some animals and overall help the herd. Just my 2 cents.

Put a 2 x 4 or something to keep the crawfish out of the water that melts. Use ice. wouldn't hurt to open the drain on the 150 quart chest. Lean the chest so the water drains. Keep them cool. Have done it and works pretty good . Keep them cool and wet.

Had reservations at Lake Degray just out of ardadelphia for next week-end and got a call from the park canceling the reservations. Said that the lake was 10 ft. above flood stage and the water was rising. The park has been completely shut until further notice. Was also told that Lake Catherine has been shut down due to high water.
