You could go to your local co-op and find out what is the best way to plant your food plots your area. They should be able to help with the correct herbacides and seed for the plot.
These cams have to be set up with a wireless phone company whoch is an additional expense aside from the cam itself. The big question when getting them is finding out which company has service in the area the cam will be in. I would do some research on the cams you are interested in and go from there.

Where are you hunting? Your best bet would probably be ryegrass. You could throw down some 15-15-15 fertilizer. With it being this late in the year I wouldnt expect too much out of it.
You can try the barrier islands but the winds are forecast to be 10-15. It wil be a rough ride for the 22 and I wouldnt even try it with the 17. Its atleast a ten mile run from cocodrie tho the barrier islands. Just try to find clean water and the fish should be there. The fish are in transition now and are moving in for the winter.
Winds are going to be blowing this weekend. What size boat? Key will be to find clean water. Went down last weekend and fished points with moving water(falling) limited on trout and reds. Had a couple flounder in the mix too. Might be going back down this weekend.
Mojos will work during teal season and the first week or 2 in big duck season. After that I take them out make my spread majority coot and what ever other ducks are around.

I dont mind using some sort of spray. Will any of this stuff effect the fiberglass hull? The last thing I need is problems with the hull.
Yes I have seen some trouble at the launches with people that are using teflon on the bunks of their trailers. I am planning on using it on the front half of the bunks to help the nose slide on and off easier. I am planning on keeping carpet on the rear half. Most of the accidents I have seen with this is do to carelessness and in some cases inexperience.
I went out there yesterday and yall sure were right about the size of the place. It is definitely bigger than I remember. Found some good holes but I will have to see what it looks like when the duck arrive.

I dont have trim tabs on the boat. If that would fix the problem i would easily put them on. I would like to find out the problem before i put trim tabs on the boat. Does anyone know of worthy a person/place around the cocodrie area that i can have the boat looked at?
The boat is a 98 238 Baystealth Rolled Gunnel. It has a 225 Mariner Offshore two stroke.
The clayton farms land in the area of fletchers lake is not pressured too much. The area that is in boggy is hunted quite a bit but only in the mornings. As far as geauxbots property goes. If you like over crowded hunting and people riding 4wheeleers all over the property all day long you can hunt there. Not to mension the high prices. I know a good bit of people that have not been pleased with that club. Clayton farms has alot more land than the two I have spoke about.
Got on some trout today under some birds. Fished the birds for awhile and ended up with about 30. Headed back in and fished the shallows forsome reds. Decent day wind was a little unforgiving today.
