This 14 point buck was killed on Martin Bay property near Simmesport Louisiana on 1/6/18 at 8:30 am. He was chasing a doe, shot at 200 yards. Gross score 186.50ââ¬Â and weighed 210 pounds.
This buck was named Gnarly by our friends in the neighboring hunting club because last year it had lots of small points and stickers around the brow tines. This year he was much bigger, but without the stickers. I called this deer in with a bleat call, and shot it at about 120 yards. He scored a green score of 181.5', and weighed 235 pounds. We estimated his age to be 4.5 years.
