Now don't take this wrong as I am OK with the regulations, but what started the 15 trout limit in Big Lake area. I have been told that the Guides requested it. Also been told the fishing pressure was considered. I think that it's made a positive impact on the Lake , but would like a Professional comment. I know I'm going to catch h### from other regions on this one.
Thanks for any imput.

Recieved my copy on tuesday, and read it cover to cover by thursday. What a wealth of knowledge it contains. I have only been fishing saltwater for 2 years and I hope to apply
alot of the Professionals Tactic's. They say a large trout caught has a very limited chance of survival when released.
I just hope I can get one of those Hogs!!!

A comment titled: W !! in response to a report titled: Trout Limits

Sorry you are catching all this grief on this subject, and I really appreciate you running Interference for me. I Fish Big Lake about 2-3 times a month. And I have to say that I don't limit everytime I fish. So yes 15 Fish on some days may as well be 200 Fish, can't get there. But as you stated, one must learn the Lake to make it happen.

thanks Paul

Well my post has been up for about 12 hrs. and the response that I was looking for, has answered my question. However I expected a few Guides to chime in, I guess they don't bother with reading or answering this sort of Question.
But thanks to all, might see ya on the Lake.

A comment titled: WEEKEND WARRIORS in response to a report titled: Week end fisherman ??????

So Weekday fisherman are better!!
I work all week so that other people can set on the porch and live better than most. Not slamming you but all I hear about,Is how bad it is on the weekend. I too think that all Boat Operator's should have a Boater's Safety Course.
So until I retire and can fish thru the week, I will be on the water on the weekends.
Yes I have a Captains License!

A comment titled: BIG LAKE in response to a report titled: Marinas on BIG LAKE

Well me and the boy were coming down Sunday to fish a couple of days but, we are now gearing up to go to Lake Erie in Ohio to do some Walleye Fishing. Walleye not near as good the Specks are but real close. Leaving on Memorial Day and staying a week.It costs $15.00 to launch and $20.00 to leave your rig in the Marina. So $5.00 ain't so bad to lauch at Herberts is it. Will post our results when we return.
Thanks for the info and be safe. Paul
