We saw quite a few big reds Saturday sight fishing around the marsh. Plucked this guy out using a live target shrimp. We snapped a few pics and released him.

We launched in Port Sulfur Sunday but the wind was kicking and the water was dirty. We wern't having any luck so we made a run to Grand Isle. We caught some nice trout and a few flounder fishing the rocks. We ran out of shrimp and time so we had to leave them biting.

We took the jetskis out in search for some bullreds and some trout. We found them right out of the pass on Sunday. The weather and conditions were perfect.

It's been a while since we loaded the ice chest!! I knew Fishing out of Gulf Outlet Marina wouldn't let us down. In one, very small spot, we loaded up with bass, striped bass, redfish, drum, and our limit of trout. Everything was caught on live shrimp, that's all they wanted. Luckily, Tony at Gulf Outlet Marina has plenty of live shrimp. If your looking for a good place to fish this is it!!

Usually we have the typical hard heads that take our bait but it was a little different this weekend....

We stayed at Joshua's marina in Buras and I was very impressed. Excellent rooms and service. It was very calm this weekend so we were able to go offshore. Caught a variety of fish but most were too small to keep. It was a perfect weekend.

Got a few trout today out of Lafitte. We didn't have much luck with the Reds. We found a spot full of them and they were very active but wouldn't take anything we threw. There's always next weekend though!!

Found a few Trout in Chalmette and lafitte while fishing the bottom with dead shrimp for Redfish. I'll take it!!

Fishing in Chalmette is always exciting. So much variety.

Finally found my bull red in Grand Isle.
