I have a possible logical opinion about the teal migration. Last year was a harsh and late winter. A friend and I was talking about it yesterday and both wonder if that has to do with this year's late migration. We had teal on Toledo Bend in June. What I wonder is if most of the hens are still with their brood. If the babies are not flying yet, the hens will still be with them. Any thoughts on this?

A comment titled: Haters are going to hate in response to a report titled: Catahoula guided hunts

Yes Catahoula is public land. But unless you want to fight the lake to build a decent blind and put 500 plus decoys out, it is best to go on a guided hunt. Not everyone has the time to do what is necessary to hunt the lake. Also new comers have the fight the Caddos on the lake. Bowmaster do what you do brother. There are not a lot of people who have witnessed the number of ducks that are on the lake.
