I have a camp rented this coming weekend in Grand Isle and it looks like rain and rough weather. I am taking the kids and would like to catch something. Has anyone done any good in these types of weather conditions? Or should I re-schedule during better weather?
I can't believe it! Me and the fiancé are finally getting a chance to get away from the kids for some fishing in Grand Isle this weekend. Can't wait to put the boat in the water! We are launching out of Sand Dollar. I haven't been this year and was wondering if anyone would be willing to share some tips. Is the surf still a good spot? Anything would be greatly appreciated!!

It would be on a 21-foot bay boat.
Does he only accept cash or does he take cards too?
According to the reportable quantities list, he was over it by 18 gallons. I bet there was a HUGE sheen all the way from the marina to his house. Sadly, it would probbaly be impossible to press charges since the sheen has dissipated and there is no evidence of him doing such. What a dumba$$.
I have used dough balls and shrimp with pretty good success but was wondering if something else worked better.
We went last weekend and did pretty good. Only caught one trout in the surf. The rest were caught behind the island on artificial. No one had live bait for most of the weekend.
