went on monday to tchfuncte river north of 22 bridge caught 12 bass kept 7 smaller bass to eat released the rest,caught um on a white spinnier bait,went 9 days ago to chef pass,caught 15 bass and a flounder used a green plastic worm.hopefully headed to shell beach this coming monday,try to post next week.go luck to all,may all of you be blessed by the the good lord.
went fishin on the Tangipahoa river Tuesday morning early,caught 9 bass and one big blue gill,fished a purple 6 inch worm,biggest bass was 2 1/2 pounds the others were decent 1 to 2 pounders released them all/fish bite was very early slowing down by 8;45 am. water was quiet stained,just being out there was a blessing.plan to fish the tchefuncte river around Tuesday or wensday, trouble now is finding clear water,good fishin to ya all.
went to causeway this morning,no trout,no reds,but channel cats and blue cats were everywhere.i was catchen um on strawberry color paddle tail h&h minnow,also dead shrimp on the bottom.these catchfish were 2 pound to 6 pound catfish,i never caught a hard head or anything else,i kept 6 catfish and released at lease 15 to 20. was a mile out from north shore,must get their early why the tide is moving.when tide stops.they stop bitting- buglumm fishin report,throw everything but the tackle box.good luck.

mandevillian -,i m gonna fish the canels off the river between 190 Madisonville and I -12 had some good trips earlier in the summer, when I get back,i ll post the info. the river is gonna be to muddy I m sure.

gb3 I used a 3 inch h&h gold color sparkle beetle,i was about 2 miles out from the north shore on the 2 piling side with a big pop on rod tip,the reds were hitting it on the fall. I hope this helps,sorry it took so long to get back to you,i ll be going again when the weather settles down,good luck.
excellent point,i v found that fox squirrels are not that great to eat,bigger and meat harder to get them tender to eat ,i v watched them for years,and like you passed on shooting them,gray squirrels far better to eat,and plenty of them,as I v gotten older I prefur to watch them than shoot them.just my 2 cents.
