Im going stay at my inlaws camp on north toledo bend on the texas side. I am going to pull my boat up and make some duck hunts in the WMA up there and i am wondering if yall have been seeing any birds up there. I have heard a bunch of people say duck hunting toledo bend is either really good or really bad. Last year fishing i jumped up a couple hundred ducks in the spot i want go to, granted that means nothing for this year but i do believe this spot is hardly ever hunted cause it is in the middle of no wheres and fishing there all the time i never see any duck hunters
Hey fellas, i am going to be spending the weekend on north toledo bend this weekend and im wondering if anybody has made any trips and know what the bass been hitting on. I know in the morning probably a hollow frog, lunker lure and spinnerbaits, but when the sun starts beaming down i know they should be in deeper water of of ledges and around structure. What is the best options this time of years, texas rig, carolina rig, jig, deep crank baits, and dropshots? lol Thanks
Anybody know where they have some big gar at in the marsh, trying to make a day bowfishing trip and maybe try to catch some trout and reds on the rod and reel while I'm out there!
