This hunt was in one of my groves in South Florida. Worked the birds hard for 4 days. As you will see there was a lot of hen competition for the Toms. Finally found the route they were taking in the mornings and set up along their path. Please let me know what you think!
I am looking to make a trip this year from South Florida, and I would like to hunt somewhere in SE Louisiana. It is about a 10 hour drive for me to make it over there, and I would like to get a few opinions as to where would be a good place to start. I am not against going with a guide, I figure that hiring one is my best bet for the first years trip.
Are there any guides who hunt public water? I would like to learn from someone there and then eventually, after a few years, start to do these trips on my own.
Any information is greatly appreciated, and if yall want to come down to Florida (don't know why you would) I would be more than happy to return the favor.
It gets old shooting Ringnecks and Bluebills and I would like to add a few more species to my list.
