My 14 year old son will be fishing in th Louisiana State Jr. Bassmasters Tournament on May 24th. I think they will launch out of the Parkside Marina. We live on the other side of the state and with the price of gas I don't think that we will be able to prefish. I have never been there but would like to help my son a little. Any help on what to throw or where to go would be greatly appreciated and make a little boy more excited than he already is. Thanks in advance & God Bless!

If anyone would like me to email them an entry form just let me know. We will also be taking registrations the morning of the tourney. We will also be serving Jambalaya to all the fishermen during the weigh-in. There have been several good reports of some nice fish being caught in Blind River so grab a partner and come have a good time on March 3. God Bless!!

The Tank Battery, also called the Tank Ponds, are not in Lake DesAllemands, They are located in the northwest corner of Lake Catauachie between where the Umbrella Canal and the Cypress Lumber Canal comes into the lake. There is a long line of pilings driven down that sticks up out of the water about 6 foot. Everything to the west of those pilings is considered the Tank Ponds.
