Got off to a slow start this morning throwing a top water plug tried changing it up with some dead shrimp under a popping cork Still nothing bad everywhere but no fish started working my kayak towards the back of the borrow pit and sure enough the red fish were way in the back chasing bait Some of them actually moving to Roso claims in Palms I could not get to finally tied on a Mambo Mullet black back and pearl white belly and sure enough Bam they slammed it . I also learned how to stand up in my Hobie today due to the flat slick conditions I could stand up and look in the ponds couldnât really see the fish but could see the bait and movement of the fish. What a great day to be fishing in South Louisiana.I have to give a shoutout to my buddy Tony Taylor Happy Birthday buddy love ya!
