LOL, It looks like Nikan tried to call someone out & got a little egg on his face. I love how some can't just enjoy a fellow sportsman's pics & move on.Nice catch slidelle.
On a half ton truck you're only likely to fit 4.56 gears in the rear end which is not nearly enough to run 40's. I would recommend 5.13 at minimum. Not to mention with an IFS on that truck you would be a rolling death trap. So add in the cost of a straight front axle along with changing out to rear axle to except higher gears. Dana 60's would be a good bet, new brakes, steering components, fender flares. After you've spec'd out all of those parts then you could see what type of lift would suit you're needs. You can save a bunch of money buy doing it yourself but it's still going to cost a pretty penny.
flip black/blue lizards & junebug tubes on the north west side under low overhanging cypress branches.Let me know how it works out for you.
There's a 1998 2180 Stratos with pretty much everything you listed that I went look at the other day. I called the guy & he's asking $12,500.
It was muddied up everywhere in the bay & pass with not a boat in site. We fished Caldwell for about 30 min. then headed into marsh island where we found some okay water & a good tide. We were able to pick up some flounder & reds there.
We Launched at the Quintana canal launch yesterday & ran to the pass & marsh island. From lafayette you have to go past jeanerette & exit near baldwin then double back around.
