Yes, 6 ft seas and rain
Duckbuster makes a great point, the mines area has submerged crap everywhere. We have fished the area for decades and still occasionally bust a prop or two ... take is slow be safe
Water is dirty from the spike in the river. Seas supposed to be around 2ft.
Yep.... its been a very down year
Hear they are thick at LL399 Plet
I would say around 40 bucks a guy, maybe a little more or a little less, depending on your service....NOT based on how many fish you catch
Nice yellows, wasn't aware snapper was open ......
At least you are coming and launching at the marina, unlike the so called 'guides' who fly through mardis gras pass like a bunch of idiots ......
Being that you are looking to fish in October, my experience is the tuna fish are behind the shrimp boats, lots of blacks and big yellows mixed in, summer months are the months for mahi, October can produce wahoo, I've had good luck on the east side floaters, Grand Isle is always a further ride, due to the fact you are further from deep water. I recommend Venice, lots of good knowledgeable capt's.
River is making the water filthy over there and I hope you have a big boat, supposed to be blowing pretty good thursday. It can get choppy in there.
You should be careful, the old sulphur mines have plenty of debris under the water ...... dont rely on a gps.
Is this an AR pistol ?
